Listings

By uploading a listing, you agree to the following terms:

Any cause you choose to support is only limited to the ones we offer. We can change this at any given moment and can add or remove the countries we choose to support.

By uploading a listing, you confirm that all the information you have provided is genuine and free from fraud or error. All the information is related to either you, or your business. Payment methods are real payment methods and are of your property. It is a criminal offence to use a payment method that does not belong to you or you have not been authorised to use. Any usage of fraudulent payments will be reported to the relevant authority and can lead to prosecution.

We do not require you to be registered with Companies House or the equivalent register for businesses. However, in this case, you are required to use your name and relevant address. This can be the address from which you trade from and does not have to be your home address, however, you must have the right to use the address as it is an offence to use someone else’s address without their knowledge.

To keep your listing on the website, you must ensure that payments are made every month. We provide a 7-day grace period from the date of renewal. However, the listing would begin from the immediate date of renewal. E.g. if listing is renewed on the 1st, you have until the 7th to ensure the payment is made. If this is not adhered to then your listing will be removed and any items ‘proving your affiliation’ with us must be removed. Below is a list of items ‘proving your affiliation’:

·       Window stickers

·       Mention of “We Support Peace”

·       Videos or images containing “We Support Peace”

·       Anything on your website relating to “We Support Peace”

Upon your listing we confirm your registration with the website and your support towards a cause of your choosing from our selected list. We will provide you with all the ‘benefits’ you gain from choosing to support one of our chosen countries through us. Please note, the benefits we provide are always subject to change and can change at any given moment. Benefits include, but are not limited to:

·       A listing on our website confirming you are supporting a cause through us

·       Potential for advertisement of your business through our social media. Please note, this one is not a guaranteed benefit

·       An image with your own unique QR code to use on your website which can be scanned to take the user to our website verifying your listing

·       The ability to choose how the funds are allocated (See Voting)

·       A window sticker which can be purchased through a designated supplier allowing for customers to scan the QR code and be able to see if you are listed on our website or not

Upon confirmation of your listing, the 1-month period begins from the moment payment is made. There may be a delay from the payment date to when it is listed on our website. Please allow up to 24 hours for the listing to be uploaded. If the listing takes more than 24 hours to become active, we will begin the 1-month period from when the listing became active.

By having a listing on our website, you are also an advocate for We Support Peace. Therefore, we expect proper business operations. We reserve the right to cancel your listing at any point in time from our website. If this is to occur, we may communicate with you, either through letter or email confirming that your listing has been removed and may provide the reasoning for this, however, this is not guaranteed.

Reasons we may cancel your listing can include, but are not limited to:

·       Poor business reputation

·       Complaints from customers regarding the business or senior members of the business. If you are a sole trader or partnership, complaints regarding your conduct made either directly to us or to third parties.

·       Any scandals that the business is involved in.

·       Rudeness towards any person associated with We Support Peace. This includes the Trustees, social media team, volunteers, full time or part time staff.

·       Harassment towards We Support Peace or anyone associated with We Support Peace

·       An ongoing criminal investigation of senior members of staff of your business, or if you are a sole trader or partnership, a criminal investigation regarding you or your partner

Please note, falling within these reasons is not a guarantee that we will remove your listing, but is an indication as to some of the causes that could lead to us removing your listing.

Voting:

We distribute the profits made every quarter and correspond with you regarding the options we have chosen. We choose as to what options we provide you with. The options that are provided to you are at our discretion, however, as our responsibility, we will ensure the money is going towards the country of your choosing. We may let you choose what specific aspect you want to vote on donating to, e.g. food, water, shelter, or we may choose to let you vote for a specific charity to donate our funds to. Every business, sole trader or partnership will have the opportunity to be involved in the voting process.

Every listing is worth 1 vote, if you vote more than once, only one vote will be counted. This is not necessarily the first vote you placed, but whichever one we keep to count as a vote. This is to ensure that votes are not influenced unfairly and everyone has a fair chance to have their choice be chosen.

We will email you with the link to vote. Sharing the link to others, whether listed on our website or not is a violation of the voting rights and will result in their vote being cancelled, and your vote for that quarter will also be cancelled.

You can choose to not vote when the voting is available, but this will result in you not having a say that quarter as to where the funds are allocated to.

You are only allowed to vote towards the cause you chose to support according to your choice when creating your listing.

The voting system is based on whichever option has the most votes once votes have been cleaned. There is no requirement for a majority vote and is only based on which option had the most votes. E.g. if the most popular option has 40% of the votes, then that is the cause we will be donating towards.

Upon closure of the votes, we will announce on our social media as to what cause had won the vote. We will not be providing email correspondence for this.
