We visited this cafe after seeing a review on Halalhunt on Instagram! The service here was so respectful, mannered, warm and welcoming! The food was outta this world! Absolutely wholesome, feel good, flavourful yummyness!

We ordered the plater for 3 – 4 and were not dissapointed! Yes the food took half an hour to come, but its worth the wait and freshness!!!!! The red sauce and green sauce were perfect with the food!

We asked who made the food and were told it was an aunt! Makes sense, as it really has that mum’s cooking touch! First time for us having Somalian food. Won’t be our last! Thank you for serving food so yummy, with a touch of home! Means a lot for those of us whose parents live far away! We’ll be back for sure! Highly recommend. You won’t be dissapointed!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a halal Somali restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Haniid, a slow-roasted lamb dish that was nothing short of exquisite. The lamb shanks were marinated in a rich blend of spices, cooked to perfection until tender, and practically melted off the bone with each bite. Accompanied by a refreshing salad and their signature green sauce, known as Bisbas, the flavors were nothing short of sensational.

Opting for rice as my side, I found it to be the perfect complement to the succulent lamb. The rice was impeccably cooked and infused with subtle hints of spices, enhancing the overall dining experience. The portion size was generous, leaving me feeling thoroughly satisfied by the end of the meal.

Moreover, the staff at the restaurant were incredibly welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall ambiance of the dining experience. Their warmth and hospitality truly enhanced the enjoyment of the meal.

Overall, my experience at this halal Somali restaurant was exceptional. From the tantalizing flavors of the Haniid to the friendly service, every aspect exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone in search of authentic Somali cuisine and a memorable dining experience.

I tried the lamb shoulder and rice meal today. It was served with a delicious red sauce and a spicy green sauce which complimented the rice. The meat was simply outstanding, fall off the bone tender & soft inside with a lovely lightly spiced layer on the outside. The meal was oozing with sauce & fats from the meat which was an absolute treat.

The service was amazing, the staff there are exceptionally polite & served us with a smile the whole time. Food was served piping hot and fresh within 10-15 minutes of ordering. I really can’t fault this place – it really is outstanding the price & quality.

To top it off, we tried a pineapple fizzy drink (Shani brand) which went very well with the meal. I honestly can’t wait to go back.
